Job Description

Munkfors Municipality is now seeking an engaged and qualified teacher with a subject combination of Swedish and English for teaching in grades 7–9.

The organization is divided into two work teams: grades 4–6 and 7–9. Each work team is led by a team leader and holds regular meetings where teachers, together with various professionals from the school health service, work on common issues regarding students' learning and well-being. The school is characterized by a positive and forward-looking culture where development work is a natural part of everyday life.

From autumn 2026, Munkfors Municipality will participate in the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Targeted Measures," which implies a strong focus on developing operations and teaching quality.

At Forsnäs School, collaboration is an obvious part of the work. The school health team has a clear presence in the school's activities and works closely with other staff to create a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with a degree in Swedish and English. You are experienced, have strong subject competence, and a strong commitment to contributing to students' development and learning.

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have a desire to constantly develop. You enjoy trying new working methods and have an open and solution-focused approach in your teaching. You are an engaged educator with a clear student focus, someone who wants to make a difference and add value to the students we share responsibility for every day.

We place great emphasis on your ability to be a clear pedagogical leader and a good role model. Here, you have the opportunity to participate in the school's development and influence the operations in a positive direction.

Special competence or experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) is considered an advantage. Great importance is also attached to personal suitability.

Terms of Employment and Salary

Before a potential employment, you must be able to provide a current extract from the Police's criminal record register.

A probationary period may be applied.

Individual salary setting applies for this position. The preliminary salary level for the position normally lies within the range of 36,150–46,600 SEK per month. The final salary is determined based on a comprehensive assessment of education, experience, competence, and the content of the assignment.
