We are now looking for a female personal assistant for a young woman in Uppsala

The client has a right-sided cerebral palsy (CP), intellectual disability, autism, and epilepsy. She lives with her family in central Uppsala and participates in day activities on weekdays.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in her daily life, helping her with care, communication, and various activities. The client needs support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, showering, toilet and diaper changes, as well as other daily routines.

The client does not use spoken language but communicates primarily through body language, gestures, and expressions. Therefore, it is important that you are sensitive, attentive, and able to interpret and understand her signals. You also need to feel confident working closely with a person who requires significant support and assistance in their daily life.

Due to epilepsy, the client requires constant supervision and presence. She can walk independently but is unsteady and appreciates support during transfers and movements.

Experience in personal assistance, autism, epilepsy, or intellectual disability is advantageous, but personal suitability is valued most highly.

About the position

Working hours and degree of employment are agreed upon. The work is performed in and around the client's home as well as during activities outside the home.

Therefore, you will need to present a certificate from the police's criminal record register prior to any potential employment.
