About the position
Torpvillan is a residential home (HVB) located outside Skyttorp, approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Uppsala. The facility receives boys aged 15–20 who are in difficult psychosocial situations. The unit targets youth with substance abuse issues, criminality, and/or behavioral problems. We work structured based on the social services' mandate with individual treatment where each client has their own implementation plan based on their needs. We work in a team where the contact person/treatment educator and psychologist collaborate to provide the client with the best care based on their conditions and situation.
In the role of night-time treatment educator, your main tasks will include:
- Creating safety activities, such as supervision and care.
- Documentation.
- External contacts with social services and other authorities.
- Everyday chores.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and thrive working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To thrive and succeed in the role, we prefer that you are good at building relationships and have strong collaboration skills.
We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or have at least a two-year post-secondary education, such as treatment educator or social pedagogue.
It is also meritorious if you:
- Have experience working with treatment for children and young people within the target group.
- Have experience with documentation work.
- Have experience with CBT, MI, and/or other evidence-based methods.
Employment level and working hours: 89%, awake nights.
Salary: Based on agreement, and other benefits are according to collective agreements.
Start date: According to agreement.
Other: A manual B-driver's license is required for the position. An extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register for staff at HVB facilities is always required prior to employment.
