About the position

Personal assistance is a support measure under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the client. We are looking for someone who wants to work for a man in his 30s living in Tierp. You share the client's interests and thrive in an active lifestyle, such as brisk walks, cycling, swimming, floorball, and bowling – but you also appreciate calmer activities like doing puzzles.

Requirements for the position

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Experience communicating with the help of picture support and picture schedules

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during the day, evening, and night. For the right person, there is a possibility of being offered a parental leave substitute with a fixed schedule in the long term. Working hours: Weekdays: Monday-Friday between 14:30-08:30 with 6 hours of on-call duty during the night. The client is at day activity during the day. Weekends: Work shifts vary between 19:00-19:00, 19:00-12:30, 12:30-08:30 with the same on-call time.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date: May 4, 2026, or by agreement.
