I am 23 years old and an active, positive young woman living just outside Uppsala. I am currently looking for a new personal assistant.

I enjoy shopping, going on excursions, hanging out with friends, and walking the dogs. During the day, I attend Day Activity (DV), and you will accompany me there.

I need assistance with all daily tasks, such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, feeding via gastrostomy, and transfers (a ceiling hoist is used, but manual lifting is also required).

I am an active person, so this is not a job where you sit still all day. I use a wheelchair and an electric wheelchair, and I communicate using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and sign language. Therefore, it is important that you have patience and a warm, encouraging manner. I am also very skilled at communicating.

Who are you?

You are a secure, calm, and responsible person who enjoys helping others. You have a good sense of humor, are detail-oriented, and find it easy to build connections. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus – but most importantly, you have the willingness to learn and the commitment to make a difference in someone else's daily life.

Important to know

• There are fur-bearing animals in the home – so you should not be allergic.
• I am only seeking female assistants.
• A driver's license and access to a car are required (to commute to and from work, and you will be driving during shifts).
• You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Working hours:

Weekdays: 07:00–16:00 or 16:00–22:00. Weekends and holidays: 07:00–17:00 or 12:00–22:00.

We are currently looking for someone interested in a part-time position at 80%, which involves weekends, evenings, and day shifts.
