1 position(s).
As a Family Therapist at Perrongen, you have the opportunity to make a significant long-term difference alongside many others with the same goal – including the family. The goal is often to avoid more extensive measures, such as placement, which means that the motivation for all parties involved is high. The results for goal achievement are high, and the positions are in demand.
Perrongen is a small unit with few positions but has the capacity to handle complex cases where support can be provided over a longer period. The target group is young people aged 10-20 years, where the need for a contact person is assessed as important for activating leisure time. A coordination function is needed as many other actors are involved, and there is an opportunity for family therapy to support and create change within the family system. As a Family Therapist, you are responsible for all parts of the different areas together with a colleague.
The working time agreement is referred to as Trust-based Framework Hours, which means freedom under responsibility to work 40 hours/week on weekdays, but with great flexibility and availability. There is room, if deemed possible, to work remotely, but not at the expense of planned network meetings, supervision, APT (Assessment and Planning Meeting), or other elements planned with the rest of the work group.
Description of Duties
At Perrongen, the Family Therapist works within three main areas. Perrongen recruits, investigates, and supervises contact persons who then participate in the work of supporting young people in their goals, including meaningful leisure time. Perrongen also holds regular network meetings where the role involves coordination, documentation, and structure regarding objectives, problem-solving, and continuous follow-up of the implementation plan.
The third area is to offer family therapy when needed. If support from other units or organizations is required, Perrongen helps facilitate contact. It is the Social Services Administration's authority departments that refer cases to Perrongen, but coordination often takes place together with schools, psychiatry, and other internal and external actors.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work (Social Work) or another equivalent degree. To succeed in the position, you have some professional experience in the field with therapeutic methods. You have the tools and habit of conducting structured conversations with families and close networks. Experience in coordination and network work is meritorious, as is good knowledge of both internal and external resources within schools, healthcare, and social care. You should be able to investigate those who have expressed interest in becoming contact persons, document the investigation, and thereafter, together with the unit, match the contact person to a suitable assignment.
In your role, you take initiative and launch activities that yield good results. In change, you can quickly adapt your perspective and attitude. You see opportunities in changes. You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a listening and agile manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. As a person, you have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings.
