About Unika - Södra parkvägen

Do you want to work in an environment where every day makes a difference? We are now looking for engaged and responsible employees for our youth residence in Norby – a cozy home with four places. The house has three floors and a spacious garden, and is quietly located near Stadsskogen and Hågadalen, creating a safe and nature-friendly environment for both youth and staff.

At the residence, we take care of the house and garden together. The youth are welcome to participate if they wish, and you as an employee have an important role in creating safety, structure, and participation in everyday life.

About the role of Housing Support Worker

As a housing support worker, you will work to offer a meaningful and predictable everyday life with a lot of structure for those living with us. We work purposefully based on the assignment plan, have a professional and salutogenic approach and working method while working based on the organization's resources and budget.

We adapt our work based on each individual's conditions and needs, and the starting point is the individual's personal implementation plan. Our goal is for the users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in using their own resources so that they can develop and have a good quality of life. Our working method involves a low-affective approach and clarifying pedagogy.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good cooperation skills and relate to others in a sensitive way, and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
  • Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS (Swedish Social Services Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
  • Upper secondary education such as Child and Youth Programme, Care and Nursing Programme, or post-secondary education such as support educator, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
  • Driver's license is required.

Meritorious if you additionally have:

  • Experience from psychiatry, AKK (Assistive Communication and Cooperation), and low-affective approach.
  • Experience with aggressive behavior.

Employment Conditions

Employment Type: Probation period 6 months, permanent.
Working Hours: 75%-100%.
Working Time: Rolling schedule, day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call duties occur. Employees should be able to work all types of shifts.
Start Date: By agreement, we view it positively if you can start in August.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
