We are looking for a Social Secretary with a special assignment who will play a crucial role in ensuring that our new employees receive a thorough introduction. Together with your two colleagues, under the leadership of the Unit Manager and the Senior Social Secretary, you will work on introducing new employees in an engaging and pedagogical manner.

In the role of Social Secretary with a special assignment, you work together with two colleagues under the leadership of the Unit Manager and the Senior Social Secretary. Your tasks involve introducing new employees by, for example, conducting case processing schools, preparing visits, accompanying visits, and challenging and coaching the new employee so that they become confident in their role. You will develop the position and working methods and need to adapt the introduction based on the new employee.

Based on your extensive experience in authority decision-making, you support your social secretary colleagues with knowledge in difficult cases by coaching and accompanying them on visits, home visits, and placements, without leading or making decisions yourself. The Social Secretary with a special assignment is to add specialist knowledge without influencing the responsibility that the Senior Social Secretary or the handling Social Secretary has in case management. The goal is that you do not have your own cases; the assignment is to be supportive and coaching.

About you

The position requires a degree in Social Work and many years of experience in authority decision-making within Children and Young People. A Category B driving license is a requirement for the position.

The position requires very good cooperation skills and flexibility. You need to be secure in your basic role as a social secretary and able to offer support to colleagues in difficult cases. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure. Cooperation with the Senior Social Secretary and external actors will also be an important part of your role. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.

You who apply need to thrive with varying tasks and changing how you work when things change. You need to have the ability to quickly change your perspective and approach and to see opportunities in changes.

This is a position for you who have the ability to combine your knowledge and experience as a former social secretary with the ability to pedagogically and clearly communicate to others. You will be a support for new employees and at the same time support the operations forward in implementing the working methods decided by management. If you have the ability to inspire others, set clear goals, plan and carry out activities and projects on time, and humbly support and lead others without being a manager or decision-maker, then you may be the one we are looking for!
