Särnmark's headquarters are in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

We are now looking for personal assistants for a customer living on Tjörn.

About the job as a personal assistant

We are looking for you who want to work with our wonderful customer on Tjörn. As an assistant, you are present during the entire morning and evening, as well as every other weekend, providing help with all daily care tasks and supporting activities. You are a reliable person by their side, and most importantly, you are calm and attentive. You enjoy finding things to do and are quick to take initiative.

Your working hours vary during weekdays as well as every other weekend. The schedule may be adjusted slightly.

We are looking for two people, and the positions are approximately 50–75% each, with the possibility of working more.

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, household chores, and cooking to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home. As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your overall task is to assist the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

We are looking for you who are responsible, attentive, and quick to learn new tasks. Previous experience as an assistant is not required as we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability, but prior experience is considered an advantage. At Särnmark, you always receive an introduction to the customer as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The form of employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary depending on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the Collective Agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
