About the position

We are now looking for a lead teacher who is certified for the lower grades of primary school. In this role, you participate in network meetings to acquire knowledge to promote subject development and thereby also promote collegial learning. Here, you have the opportunity to drive the school's development work forward in close collaboration with colleagues and school management. You will have an important role in planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching within your subjects. The position also includes mentorship, where you have the opportunity to follow the students' development in a close and meaningful way.

Examples of tasks:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching within the subjects you are responsible for

• exercise mentorship/perform homeroom teacher duties

• monitor the external environment and participate in school-wide work such as leading and participating in networks within specific areas

• spread subject knowledge and teaching skills to colleagues, digitalization and IT use are included here as a natural part

About the workplace

At Bruket School, students go from preschool class to year 3. Bruket School is located in the Markbacken residential area in the western parts of Örebro and has approx. 140 students and approx. 25 staff. Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good cooperation skills where you listen and communicate and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. You should also have knowledge of children's development and learning as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. You communicate clearly, ensure that messages get through, and remind and follow up. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and you see opportunities in changes. You can also quickly change your perspective and approach. You create contacts, maintain relationships, and can lead, motivate, and create engagement and participation.

Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, and can document in writing what the operation requires. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teacher certification with eligibility to teach in grades F-3
• through documentation, be able to report at least four years of well-regarded work with teaching

Merits:

• experience in driving development work within primary school
• experience with language and knowledge-developing approaches
• experience with Guided Interaction (ICDP)
• experience and knowledge of working with students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders)
