About the position

Here, you have the opportunity to work as a primary school teacher for grades 4–6, primarily in mathematics and natural sciences (NO). However, we would prefer that you have a broad qualification for grades 4–6, as the position also involves teaching in most theoretical subjects, primarily in grades 5 and 6. Your teaching will be based on planning, implementation, assessment, and development. You will join an engaged and development-oriented work team that works for the development and well-being of all students. You will work according to the requirements of the steering documents regarding planning, implementation, follow-up, and development. In addition to regular teaching and mentorship, you are expected to develop teaching together with colleagues. You have a student focus and believe in every student's willingness and ability to develop, and you vary your teaching based on the students' needs.

Examples of tasks:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in the subjects you are qualified to teach
• use methods and approaches that lead to the best possible goal achievement
• exercise mentorship/perform homeroom teacher duties
• support students' social development
• create a good environment for learning
• work and document in the existing operational systems
• collaborate with other teachers at the school and staff at the leisure center

About the workplace

Odenskolan is a grades F–9 school located in Odensbacken. Approximately 300 students study at the school today, from preschool class to grade 9. Odensbacken is located approximately 25 km from Örebro with good bus connections.

Within the Preschool and Primary School Administration, approximately 4,530 employees work. We meet young people from Örebro from their first day in preschool to their last day in primary school. Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate and contribute to a calm and secure school environment. You should also have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and prerequisites. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teaching license with qualification to teach mathematics and natural sciences for grades 4–6, or alternatively a qualification-giving degree that entitles you to a teaching license

Merits:

• qualification in several subjects for primary school
