About the position

Hagaskolan is now looking for a certified PE teacher with strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey it pedagogically. You must also be qualified to teach an additional subject for grades 1-6, and teaching will take place across several stages! You will serve as both a mentor and a teaching teacher. We have four teachers working across two classes, which means close collaboration with additional colleagues who, together with you, are responsible for the teaching in the class. You are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on student learning in your subjects, together with your colleagues.

Examples of duties:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching
• work towards the best possible goal achievement for our students
• participate in school development work together with school staff
• work and document in current operational systems

About the workplace

Hagaskolan is a grades 1-6 school with approximately 350 students. The school is located in the Haga area, part of the western districts of Örebro. Knowledge and democracy are at the center of the school's operations. Our goal is to meet each student individually in the best possible way and create a learning environment. Safety, responsibility, and joy in work are the key words for Hagaskolan.

Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate, and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. You should also have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Teacher certification with qualification to teach PE, as well as an additional subject for grades 1-6, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for certification

Merits:

• qualification to teach Spanish and/or French
• experience with Language and Knowledge Development approaches
• experience with ICT in teaching
• qualification in an additional subject within primary school
