Häsäng School is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. Approximately 90 students attend Häsäng School. Our students start at Häsäng School in preschool class and grade 1, then move to Stråningstorps School where they attend grades 2-6. We have close cooperation between the schools as we are one unit. RESPONSIBILITIES
As an after-school teacher, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and developing teaching in the after-school program with the goal of creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
During the school day, you are an active and present educator in the classroom, smaller groups, and during breaks. Depending on your qualifications, you may also be responsible for a specific subject.
You have close and daily cooperation with the school's staff.
Your responsibilities also include:
- Contact with guardians
- Cooperation with the student health team, school management, and external parties
- School-wide values-based work
- Teamwork
- Working and documenting in the existing operational systems
- Analysis of teaching and results
Working hours are scheduled between 06:00-18:00.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a certified after-school teacher.
To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and that you can document what the operation requires in writing.
You are a confident and stable leader in both the classroom and the after-school activity. You have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good cooperation by having an open, accommodating, and solution-oriented approach.
It is meritorious if you have experience from work within school or after-school programs, as well as with students in need of support within the neuropsychiatric area.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
Register Control
To work in preschool, school, and youth and after-school activities, you must, according to the Register Control Act, provide a certificate of good conduct from the police's criminal record register. You must request the extract yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the criminal record register" in the form archive from the police's website.
Probationary employment may occur.
