On behalf of the Swedish National Agency for Education, Merit AB is conducting a competence boost for staff in elderly care. This initiative is aimed at care and support personnel, language coordinators, and their managers. The purpose is to strengthen communication in interactions with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as to increase knowledge about the mission, values, and quality-assured working methods of elderly care.

Do you want to contribute to a more language-developing and inclusive elderly care sector? As a trainer, your task will be to teach vocational Swedish with themes such as the mission of care, interaction and ethics, intercultural communication, collaboration within the work team, documentation, and digital tools. You will also work on establishing contacts with municipalities, care providers, and facility managers to market the competence boost.

• Has experience in training within Swedish as a second language, preferably with a vocational focus.
• Is accustomed to adapting teaching to participants' needs and language levels.
• Has good knowledge of elderly care and its mission.
• Has high digital competence and experience with learning platforms.
• Additionally, experience in adult pedagogy, supervision, or language coordination work is a big plus!
