About Us
At the Faculty of Music at Örebro University, artistic and scientific perspectives meet knowledge and learning in an environment where different aesthetic expressions can interact. In the subject of Music Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music, education is offered within the Subject Teacher Programme and the Theatre Pedagogy Programme at both basic and advanced levels. We also conduct music pedagogical research within the framework of the doctoral subject of Musicology.
Responsibilities
As a University Lecturer, you will primarily focus on teaching at the undergraduate level, as well as related collaboration. A University Lecturer also contributes to the development of the Faculty of Music and the University.
Your main responsibilities include teaching and supervision in courses within Theatre Pedagogy, Acting, Dramaturgy, and Sound/Light Technology on the Theatre Pedagogy Programme. Teaching on related programmes, such as the Preschool Teacher Programme, and in standalone courses also occurs. Course responsibility is included in the employment, as well as examination, planning, evaluation, participation in meetings, and course administration. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues.

The position is 80% with a permanent contract, with start date according to agreement. Örebro University applies individual salary setting and, where applicable, probationary employment.
