DUTIES
Are you a teacher whose view of students is truly rooted in the value that all people do their best given their circumstances? Do you believe that if a student fails in school, they have not been given the right conditions to succeed? Is your view of the students who challenge us in school that they are primarily school developers who help us find new pedagogical paths and tools to achieve the goal that school is for ALL students? If you answer a resounding YES to these three questions, this is a position you should apply for immediately!
We see Tallängens School as a workplace where we together focus on seeing opportunities in differences and, based on that, develop the goal achievement of all our students, both within after-school care and preschool class as well as in primary school.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a teacher's license for grades 1-6, preferably with experience in special education. The position involves working in the school's Special Education Group (S.U), which we call our Flex Unit. Students from grade F-6 who need an adapted learning environment, either partially or fully during their school day, come to the Flex Unit. In the Flex Unit, you and the students work with the material covered in regular lessons, in consultation with the teaching teacher. Since the Flex Unit is not a fixed point for the student, it is important that they work with the same material as other students in regular lessons. The purpose of the Flex Unit is for all children in the activity to reach as far as possible in their learning based on their conditions.
We expect you to be able to work both independently and together with the school's special educator, special needs teacher, and teaching teachers. You have good social skills and are responsible and engaged. You have a positive and professional attitude towards students, parents, and colleagues.
We place great emphasis on a student-centered approach and personal suitability. You should have previous experience working with students in need of special support. You meet the students based on their individual conditions.
If you are the one we are looking for, we offer you stimulating work together with engaged and positive colleagues!
We call for interviews continuously during the application period, and the position may therefore be filled before the final application date.
