Sydnärke Educational Association is a municipal consortium located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned training. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, as well as adapted upper secondary school.

We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of whom 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the team responsible for the Introductory Program - Individual Alternative (IMIA). The team at IMIA consists of teachers, youth workers, social pedagogues, student coaches, and youth counselors.

At IMIA, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics together with two colleagues. You will also teach other subjects depending on your qualifications. At IMIA, the mentor role is a central part of daily work and involves, together with students, guardians, and other actors (e.g., Social Services, Habilitation, or HVB homes), with support from the student health team, creating the student's individual study plan based on the student's future goals and supporting planning, implementation, and follow-up.

You are expected to actively contribute to the joint systematic quality work together with the team in order to continuously develop the program and teaching. You actively participate in the planning and implementation of joint activity days, cross-curricular work, etc.

In daily work, you work closely with our students throughout their school day and closely with colleagues in the team. You are responsible for teaching (planning, implementation, and assessment) in your subjects, as well as guidance for students in other subjects based on need.

You are secure in your teacher role, see a low-affective approach as a matter of course, and are driven by finding different paths through school and further out into life for the individual student.

Qualifications

You have:

  • We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics combined with another subject with the right to teach in the later years of compulsory school and at upper secondary school.
  • You are used to working in a language- and knowledge-developing way, see relationship-building as an important cornerstone in daily work, and are challenged by developing teaching based on different students' needs and conditions.
  • You have experience working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support.
  • You have good experience working with various digital tools and aids.

Merits:

  • Teacher certification for upper secondary school.
  • Documented knowledge about meeting/working with math difficulties.
  • Experience working with students with norm-breaking behavior and/or students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

Personal qualities:

  • You are a team player and are used to collaborating with others and see advantages in working together with other teachers in the classroom and in planning work.
  • You base your approach on a relational perspective and are secure in your profession.
  • You have good communicative and pedagogical skills.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent position.
  • Duration/Start date: 2026-08-17 (Preferably start of school year 2026-08-17, or as soon as possible).
  • Working hours: Daytime.

Interviews will take place during week 31/32.
