Description

Yrkesgymnasiet Örebro is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher for Construction and Civil Engineering at 50% employment. You are also welcome to apply if you have at least five years of work experience from the Construction Industry. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with tomorrow's vocational professionals. More than half of the students' education takes place at a workplace, giving them a stable foundation and an advantage on the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Construction and Civil Engineering, or alternatively has at least five years of experience from the Construction Industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between school, students, and industry.

• Holds a B-driver's license and preferably has access to a personal car.

• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented, collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience within the Construction Industry, along with a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of vocational professionals. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not mandatory.
