The Child and Education Department covers preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school centers, upper secondary school, and adult education. Currently, just over 200 employees work in our department.

Lekebergsskolan 7–9 is a lower secondary school with approximately 330 students located in Fjugesta, just a couple of miles west of Örebro. Here, dedicated employees meet and work together to create a secure, inclusive, and developing learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

Through systematic quality work and strong collegial learning, we continuously develop our teaching to give students the best possible conditions to reach their goals.

We are now looking for an engaged and licensed teacher in Swedish and Social Sciences (SO) who wants to become part of our competent and development-oriented team at Lekebergsskolan 7–9. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in a school where collaboration, high expectations, and good relationships are at the center.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in Swedish and Social Sciences, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching based on the curriculum and regulatory documents. You create a secure and stimulating learning environment where students are given good conditions to develop as far as possible based on their prerequisites.

The role includes mentorship and close collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians. You actively participate in the school's joint development work and contribute to developing teaching together with your colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with eligibility to teach Swedish and Social Sciences subjects at the lower secondary level. Having eligibility in multiple subjects is an advantage.

You have clear leadership in the classroom and a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are engaged, solution-focused, and see the value of collaboration. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
