Are you passionate about both music and teaching? We are now looking for you who want to teach our students music at two of our municipal primary schools.

About the position

We are currently seeking a certified music teacher for Wallerska School and Lundby School. In this role, you will teach students in grades 1-6, covering both lower and middle school levels. The position is divided 60% at Wallerska and 40% at Lundby. The weekly schedule is determined through dialogue between you as an employee and the principals. You should possess strong subject knowledge as well as the ability to convey it pedagogically. As a teacher, it is important that you can act as a bridge in the students' journey between school levels, guide them towards increased independence, and spark their interest through varied teaching. Furthermore, we see you as a secure person who naturally and intuitively adapts your teaching to the different prerequisites of your students.

Examples of tasks:

• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching
• teamwork
• collaborate with guardians, colleagues, and potential external authorities and organizations
• participate and contribute to joint activities at the school

About the workplace

Wallerska School covers grades F-6 and is located in the residential area of Hjärsta in western Örebro. This autumn, we will move into completely newly renovated and newly built premises with an associated newly built schoolyard. Around the school, there are beautiful parks and outdoor areas used by the school. Here, you will work in a teaching team that also conducts school development. Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills where you listen and communicate, and contribute to a calm and secure school environment. You should also have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and prerequisites.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• teacher certification with eligibility to teach music for grades 2-6, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for certification

Meritorious:

• experience in teaching music
