About the Position

Welcome to Änglandaskolan! As a teacher for grades 4-6, you will deliver instruction in close collaboration with your colleagues. Änglandaskolan operates with "home bases" for each grade level, where students have the opportunity to receive their education in various environments depending on what suits each lesson best. In each grade, a teaching team works together to share responsibilities and support each other in teaching their respective grade. In your role, you are expected to teach core subjects and physical education, as well as share class responsibility with your team. You will be responsible for physical education instruction for a couple of grades in collaboration with a colleague.

Collaboration among colleagues and collegial working methods are prerequisites for our work at Änglandaskolan, as is the ability to find flexible solutions to meet our students' needs. As an employee of the school, you will also work preventively and promotively in cooperation with the school's student health team and other supporting professionals. As a teacher here, you will continuously reflect on, develop, and improve both your own teaching and that of the entire team. We actively work to create an environment where our students feel trust in the school's teachers. We achieve this through warm relationships with the students combined with clear boundaries.

This position is a temporary vacancy for the Autumn Term 2026 (HT26), but depending on how operations look during the Spring Term 2027 (VT27), there may be good opportunities for extension.

Änglandaskolan is a K-6 school that started operations in August 2018. The school serves as a landmark in the emerging district of Södra Ladugårdsängen. Qualifications

As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a secure school environment. You work well with others and have an attentive approach, listening and communicating in a way that creates good relationships with the school's staff and students. You have knowledge of child development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group and individual students' needs and conditions.

You are both warm and clear in your communication, ensuring that messages are conveyed effectively. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and attitude. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate orally and in writing with students and other staff, as well as document what the operations require.

Requirements:

• Teaching license with qualification to teach core subjects and physical education for grades 4-6, or alternatively a degree that qualifies for a teaching license

Merits:
