The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary and Secondary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. Here, all our employees play an important role in the implementation.

Lindskolan is a municipality-wide adapted primary school (AGR) for students with autism, autism-like conditions, and/or multiple functional variations. Our students receive education of the highest quality – and we take this assignment very seriously.

Job Responsibilities

To be selected to work with us, one must be flexible, curious, attentive, welcoming, and open to constant development. You need to have prior knowledge of our student group and understand the demands placed on you as a worker here.

You are expected to perform all parts of the pedagogical assignment at an adapted primary school and take responsibility for contributing to the clarity and care required to build a safe climate in which our students can grow.

We hold introductory training in the tools we use during your first year with us. You do not need to have them all in place when you start, but you need to have the right attitude towards the assignment and the students.

Since our students often have speech and language difficulties, you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and in writing.

For you to thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you:

  • Have documented experience of working in an adapted primary school or similar operation
  • Have good knowledge of the curriculum for school-age childcare and its application in practice
  • Have good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling
  • Have experience of students with combined diagnoses ID and autism
  • Have experience of students with extensive support needs
  • Have experience of leading colleagues in day-to-day work
  • Have pedagogical experience of children and young people with diagnoses within NPF
  • Have pedagogical experience of children and young people with the combined diagnoses ID and autism
  • Have pedagogical experience of children and young people with multiple functional variations
  • Have experience of clarifying pedagogy
  • Have education/experience of students with care needs
  • Have knowledge of sign communication
