Are you a leisure-time centre teacher with an interest in outdoor life and outdoor pedagogy? Then you could be a future colleague of ours at Mårtensbergsskolan.

At the start of the autumn term, we are looking for two leisure-time centre teachers. One permanent position at 100% and one temporary position at 50%. You will work with students in grades F–3. You will also collaborate within the class team.

About the operations and organization

Friluftsfrämjandet I Ur och Skur Utveckling AB, wholly owned by Friluftsfrämjandet, operates thirteen preschools and schools with a unique pedagogy where any potential profit is reinvested into the operations.

Our pedagogy is also shared via license with hundreds of preschools and schools across the country, where together we reach thousands of children. We spark curiosity and joy of movement in children and students, and after 40 years in the industry, our pedagogy rests securely on a scientific foundation and proven experience.

Mårtensbergsskolan is a small school with approximately 95 students from F–3. All students are enrolled in the leisure-time centre. We also have a preschool, Mullebo, with approximately 55 children. We are located in a villa area in Vendelsö with a nice yard right next to the forest.

We are looking for someone who:

Has clear and secure leadership skills, is easy to build relationships with, and collaborates well with others. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You inspire others, are creative and playful, and can create routines where students are involved.

Is a professional educator with high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their own prerequisites. You find strengths and see opportunities instead of difficulties.

Has a strong commitment and a desire to develop together with colleagues and students.

Has the ability to lead student groups and can create engagement and involvement.

Collaborates with colleagues and guardians as a natural and important part of the work.

Through I Ur och Skur, you will receive training in the pedagogy, a pedagogy linked to the curriculum and the Education Act. The starting point of the pedagogy is based on experiential learning and a co-discovering and co-agentic approach.
