Kevinge Adapted School is centrally located near Mörby Centrum and Kevinge Golf Course. Approximately 18 students attend the school, distributed across three classes, with teaching within both subjects (grades 1–6) and subject areas (grades 1–9). The staff works in well-functioning teams with engaged and experienced colleagues. Together we create a safe and developing environment where every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential based on their prerequisites.

We are now looking for a certified teacher or special needs teacher with a focus on Individual Needs (IF). The position is a permanent full-time employment starting August 10, 2026.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on the students' needs and prerequisites. You work both individually and in small groups, creating structured and varied teaching that promotes safety and learning.

You collaborate closely with colleagues, the student health team, and guardians, and actively contribute to the school's development work.

The role includes among other things:

  • Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching.
  • Documenting and assessing students' knowledge development.
  • Serving as a mentor for students in your class.
  • Conducting mapping, observations, and analyzing results.
  • Contributing to promoting and preventive student health work.

We work from a salutogenic approach and strive to create joyful learning every day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Teacher certification with eligibility for primary school F3 (or equivalent older education).
  • Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to translate these into teaching.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish as a language.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • A special needs teacher degree with a focus on Individual Needs (IF).
  • Experience working in adapted primary or upper secondary schools.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and have good knowledge of the school's governing documents as well as the ability to translate these into teaching that is understandable and meaningful for the students. You are a clear and secure leader with good collaboration skills and ease in creating trusting relationships. You work in a structured, flexible manner and have a professional approach where you see opportunities in challenges. You communicate well both verbally and in writing and have experience working formatively and language-developing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you are employed by us, further education to become a special needs teacher can become part of your development plan, with support from the employer.

According to the School Act, you who are offered the position must present a valid extract from the criminal record register before an employment contract can be drawn up. You order the extract via the Swedish Police Authority's website.
