Your Role

In the role of preschool teacher, you lead the pedagogical work together with two childcare assistants, creating a practice that is safe, fun, and educational for every child. The children's participation and influence are a natural part of daily life, and you work to provide both care and stimulation that promotes their development and learning.

Together with your colleagues, you plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate the practice based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool and set goals. You work project-oriented and document children's learning processes in a common template for systematic quality work through reflection and analysis. You actively participate in pedagogical documentation and development work.

The role also includes driving and developing the pedagogical work together with the work team, as well as collaborating with guardians through daily contact, pedagogical conversations, and parent meetings. You participate in introductions and project work and actively contribute to the overall development of the practice. The role also includes responsibility for opening and closing the preschool. You must be able to work with children of all ages and contribute your competence and creativity in a team that values engagement and quality.

Your Experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• Preschool Teacher Certification (Förskollärarlegitimation)
• Experience working in preschools
• Experience and good knowledge of pedagogical documentation
• Knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to apply it in practice
• Good digital competence with experience using digital tools
• Experience actively driving the preschool's development and quality work
• Experience participating in developmental conversations
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Interest in creative work
• Experience and interest in language-developing approaches
• Experience working with children in need of special support
• Good knowledge of NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.

At the same time, you are flexible and handle varying tasks, methods, and situations with ease. You adapt easily to changed circumstances - always with the needs of the children and the practice in focus.
