Job Responsibilities

Study Support Teacher in Swahili. As a study support teacher, you assist students in acquiring knowledge in various school subjects. You collaborate with teaching staff and base your lessons on their planning. Study support can take place before, during, or after school hours. Your duties include 4 hours of study support distributed across two different schools.

Qualifications

• You have thorough knowledge of the Swahili language.
• You also have good proficiency in Swedish and hold an education equivalent to Upper Secondary level Swedish as a Second Language. You possess knowledge of the Swedish school system and are familiar with our governing documents.
• You are a responsible and structured person with strong collaboration skills and ease of communication. Your professional attitude enables you to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike.
• Good computer skills are required.
• A valid B-driver's license and access to a car are required.

A pedagogical or behavioral science education is meritorious, as is experience in mother-tongue instruction or other pedagogical work with young people in Sweden. Personal suitability is given great weight.
