Do you want to help educate the professional drivers of the future? You now have the chance to become one of our transport teachers at Hörby Vocational High School. For the autumn of 2026, we are looking for a transport teacher to broaden our team and, together with us, strengthen and develop teaching to enhance students' knowledge development in transport subjects.

Hörby Vocational High School specializes in vocational programs, with a particular focus on the construction and transport industries, as well as vehicle technology. We are a close-knit school where we value working closely with each student.

Your Role

• Together with the team, you will be responsible for the education within the transport track, including practical driving lessons with passenger cars, trucks, and trailers.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate practical and theoretical teaching, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
• Ensure students' work-based learning (APL) by following up on and quality-assuring their workplace placements.
• The position may involve mentoring responsibilities.
• Be responsible for the vehicle fleet and any equipment, including maintenance, care, and service.
• Handle administrative tasks, such as documentation and work in our digital systems.
• Collaborate with other colleagues to create good conditions for student learning.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a professional driver with a CE license.
• Teaching certification with eligibility for the transport track or currently undergoing training to become a vocational teacher.
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB).

Merits:

• Experience as a vocational teacher in the transport track.
• Competence in areas such as CPC training, crane operation, wheel loaders/forklifts, ADR, and APV.
• A broad network within the industry.
• Experience as a driving examiner or traffic instructor for heavy vehicles.
