Job Description

Through individual implementation plans, clear goals, and regular house meetings, we create a meaningful and developmental everyday life for our tenants together. As a Support Pedagogue, you will become an important part of the business's development and quality assurance. You will work closely with the unit manager, the municipality's method developer, and other support pedagogues within the municipality. Together, you will drive development work and create good conditions for both tenants and the work group. You will be part of an engaged work team consisting of seven support assistants and will work both operationally and in a pedagogical supervisory role.
Your main responsibilities:
- Guide and supervise support assistants in pedagogical work.
- Develop and implement working methods, approaches, and routines.
- Ensure quality and documentation according to current guidelines.
- Work with implementation plans and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with relatives, guardians, and other partners.
- Contribute to the business's development and improvement work.
- Participate in daily work according to schedule.
The position includes work during days, evenings, and weekends. Parts of your role are dedicated to pedagogical development work during the day, and you may also work as a support assistant within the business.
Qualifications and Merits
To be considered for the position, you must have:
- Post-secondary education within the disability sector equivalent to a university degree or a university college degree with a pedagogical focus.
- Experience and in-depth knowledge regarding intellectual and cognitive disabilities.
- Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
- Experience with implementation plans, social documentation, and follow-ups.
- Good computer skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Interest in wellness and health-promoting work.
- Experience with welfare technology and digital aids.
- Experience with the documentation system LifeCare.
