We are looking for an attentive, loving, and empathetic personal assistant for a boy living with a progressive illness and extensive care needs. As his assistant, you will be an important part of his daily life, providing support in his everyday activities. It is important that you are comfortable working closely with him and that you work with heart.

You will never work alone; the position is always double-staffed.

For our client's health, it is crucial that applicants do not have contact with small children, as he is highly susceptible to infections.

Responsibilities:

• Support the boy in his daily activities and routines.
• Assist with transfers, as he uses a wheelchair.
• Perform care tasks, which may include assistance with medical equipment.
• Be attentive to his needs and adapt your work according to his daily condition.
• Contribute to a meaningful daily life by being a present and considerate support person.

Qualifications:

• Empathy, humility, and a genuine interest in helping others.
• Ability to handle medical equipment and learn new routines.
• Previous experience in healthcare or a medical education is an advantage.

The role involves close and personal collaboration with the boy and his family. Together with your colleagues, you will play a vital role in his life.

Employment level: Part-time, approx. 40%, with opportunities for extra hours if needed.

Working hours: 14:00–18:00, with flexibility for other times if needed.

Salary: Hourly wage is fixed by agreement; other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: As soon as possible by agreement, running for the duration of the assistance assignment.
