Personal Assistant for a Cheerful 8-Year-Old in Åmål

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful and active 8-year-old boy in Åmål. The position is part-time, with shifts primarily scheduled for afternoons and weekends. There is also an opportunity for daytime work during school holidays and breaks.

The role involves being helpful and providing support in daily activities. You will be based at his home, which requires you to be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment with siblings and parents present.

You should be attentive, have a kind heart, and retain a childlike sense of wonder and imagination. Good physical fitness is essential, as the job involves various activities such as walking, trampolining, cycling, and sitting on the floor for extended periods to play.

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous experience working with children and knowledge of low-affective interaction (low-arousal approach) is considered an advantage.
Experience with Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) or visual supports is viewed positively.
Communication is key in this household, so you must have fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing.
There is a dog in the household, so you must not be allergic to dogs or afraid of them.
