Strömstad Municipality is seeking a Support Assistant for LSS Housing
Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service.
Within the Social Services Department, we work together to ensure that those we serve are given the opportunity to live a good life based on their unique conditions. Every day, we create meaning in everyday life, provide support where it is needed, and take responsibility for creating security and a good life throughout life.
1 position(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you have the opportunity to make a real difference every day. We are now looking for a support assistant for our three LSS housing units, where you will meet people with different needs, life situations, and strengths. Our housing units are located on Skomakargatan, Löpargatan, and Spinnaren, and if needed, there is also the possibility to work at other units. This gives you a varied daily routine where you contribute to the whole and become an important part of the operations. Your contribution makes a difference where the need is greatest.
In the role of support assistant, your task is to provide individually adapted support that strengthens each person's opportunity to live as independent, secure, and meaningful a life as possible. You are an important part of the users' daily lives and contribute to creating structure, participation, and quality of life. With professional and respectful treatment, you build trusting relationships and support each individual in developing their abilities and reaching their goals. Together with colleagues and other professions, you create a whole where each person is at the center.
We work based on IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center), which permeates our entire way of working. This means that you are involved in planning, implementing, and following up on interventions based on each person's unique needs, wishes, and conditions. You actively contribute to the work with implementation plans and documentation, as a natural part of ensuring quality, continuity, and legal security in the support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Trained assistant nurse with a certificate from the Care and Nursing College or equivalent.
- Category B driver's license.
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
We see that you have professional experience, preferably within LSS operations, but at least within the care profession. You have a good ability to meet users based on their individual needs and conditions, as well as to motivate and support increased independence and participation in everyday life.
We are looking for someone who is solution-focused, responsible, and has good collaboration skills. Contributing to the overall operation and development together with colleagues and management is seen as a natural part of the task.
With us, you become part of a competent and engaged work group where we support each other and work together to create the best possible conditions for those we serve. We value your commitment, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to the whole.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
Before the recruitment process, we have taken a stand on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore explicitly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
