About the Company
Waxö Omsorg is a small care company offering support, service, and nursing care to adults with cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as individuals with acquired brain injuries.
The needs, wishes, and integrity of each individual guide all operations at Waxö Omsorg.
A key starting point is ensuring that care recipients are offered the support they need to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible.
We strive for the care recipients we are responsible for to achieve a high degree of independence and to feel significant, participating in society in the same way as other municipal residents.
Waxö Omsorg has a collective agreement with parties according to the Care and Social Services Agreement, administered by the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union (Kommunal).
Waxö Omsorg is a member of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise Local Government (KFS).
About the Workplace
Storgatan Group Home is an LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residence for individuals with extensive support needs. Six care recipients live here, having been granted support under LSS Section 9, Paragraph 9. They receive support in their daily lives at home and during leisure time. The manner in which support is provided is described in each care recipient's implementation plan and is based on their wishes and needs.
There are clear job descriptions for staff. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction to working with care recipients and documentation rules. An induction program is available, the length of which is adapted to your needs.
We are a smoke-free workplace.
