Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned limited company offering qualified treatment and change work for children, young people, young adults, and their families. Magelungen provides treatment as well as resource schools at the primary and upper secondary school levels. The goal is to create a context in the operations that is manageable, meaningful, and comprehensible. In all operations, research and evaluation are an integrated part.

About the position

We are looking for a motivated therapist who wants to work in and develop the treatment work at Magelungen. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to be responsible for the content at both individual and group levels. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment work within our "full-day" interventions, i.e., treatment and school. The interventions are aimed at young people and their families/foster families.

The interventions are based on systems theory/systemic theory and simultaneously work from several different theoretical frameworks and evidence-based methods. What our interventions have in common is that they target young people with serious school absenteeism and behavioral issues. In addition to planning and implementing treatment interventions, the role involves contacting and coordinating interventions with our commissioning bodies, writing and working according to an implementation plan, and being responsible for other documentation. The work is carried out both in teams consisting of a family therapist and a mentor, as well as environmentally therapeutically with other therapists and other teachers.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or another equivalent higher education degree. Further education in or experience of therapy training is meritorious. For the right person, we can offer a creative and developmental assignment where you, together with others, can make a real difference for young people and their families. It is important that you are motivated and driven by creating non-judgmental relationships with children, guardians, as well as employees and commissioning bodies. You need to have a good understanding between theory and practice and the ability to work independently. We want you to share our thoughts on a salutogenic approach where respectful treatment, strengthening of resources and competencies among those we meet are conveyed, but at the same time also being able to hold boundaries.

As we meet families with complex problems, this also requires that you as a person have good self-awareness and have an open, exploratory, and curious approach. The treatment intervention takes place in collaboration with many different actors, which is why you should also have a good ability to collaborate. Our cases come from both Stockholm City and surrounding municipalities. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability based on the target group's needs.

Employment type

The position is a fixed-term substitute position between August 1, 2026, and March 25, 2027. There is some possibility of extension.
