We at Vår Omtanke are currently looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with one of our clients at her summer cottage outside of Norrtälje. About the client

The client is a woman in her 40s who spends her summers at her summer cottage outside of Norrtälje with her husband and their two dogs. She has a neurological condition that affects her muscle function and therefore needs an assistant who can act as her arms and legs to help her manage daily life. The work ranges from transfers and personal hygiene to light household chores and training the dogs together with the client. She has a strong interest in environmental and societal issues, and days are often spent on daily tasks, maintaining the dogs' health (e.g., brushing teeth, wiping paws, brushing fur), and dog training.

It is important that you are:

• Female

• Humble

• Solution-oriented

• Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

• Interested in dogs and comfortable handling them

• Experienced in managing a home and household

• 25 years of age or older

• Valid driver's license and access to a car are required to commute to the workplace as there is no bus service to the location.

No prior experience in healthcare is needed. Personal chemistry is what will determine the hire.

Working hours and employment percentage:

The position is a summer temporary assignment during July, as the regular assistants cannot reach the workplace at the summer cottage during the summer. Shifts are scheduled from 08:00–18:30 on weekdays and 09:00–16:00 on weekends. Most shifts consist of 4 consecutive days followed by approximately 4 days of rest. You cannot bring your dog to work. This may become a recurring seasonal position in the future.

Introduction should preferably take place in the last week of July, if possible.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage + other allowances according to the collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.
