About Fryshuset and Fisksätra Youth Centre
Fryshuset enables young people to change the world through their passions. We create communities where young people are seen, heard, and valued – from culture and sports to social projects that meet society's challenges.
Fisksätra Youth Centre is part of Fryshuset's operations in Nacka and targets young people aged 13–19. The youth centre is a safe meeting place where young people can explore their interests, build relationships, and develop as individuals. We work in a supportive and relationship-based manner, focusing on ensuring young people feel seen, heard, and have the opportunity to influence their daily lives.
About the role
As a part-time youth leader responsible for the girls' activities, you will work closely with the young people and help build a vibrant operation with a special focus on creating safe and inclusive spaces for girls.
The position involves working approximately 25 hours per week. You will work an average of 3 evenings per week and 1-2 afternoons (from 12:00 onwards).
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Working operationally with the target group during afternoons, evenings, and sometimes weekends
- Planning, marketing, implementing, and following up on activities aimed specifically at girls
- Leading group activities for girls at the youth centre
- Being a safe and present adult who builds relationships with young people
- Collaborating with colleagues in Fisksätra as well as with other operations within Fryshuset
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are passionate about working with young people – especially girls – and who have an inclusive and norm-conscious approach. You are communicative, confident in yourself, and have an easy time building relationships. You are proactive, creative, and have good collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working with young people
Merits:
- Youth leader education or other relevant education (can be ongoing)
- Experience leading dialogue groups with young people
- Knowledge of norm-criticism and an inclusive approach
- Experience working with LGBTQ+ youth
- Personal interest or passion to contribute (e.g., music, dance, sports, crafts, social issues, etc.)
- Interest in or willingness to learn about martial arts, as one of our girls' activities focuses on martial arts and self-defense

The position in brief
- Scope: Needs-based employment, approx. 3 shifts per week (afternoon/evening/weekend)
