We are now looking for a residential support worker for our team at Rosen. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! The position is a summer temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.

About Rosen

Rosen is a group home under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) with space for 6 residents. The home is located in central Säffle, close to shops, municipal services, and nature areas. The residents have their own apartments and the opportunity to socialize in common areas.

About the role

In the role of residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, contact with society, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

Working hours are during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You have a coordinator close to you who works part-time in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge

You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and you always have the best interests of our users as your starting point in everything you do.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment according to agreement with the possibility of extension.
