We are now looking for an Administrator for our Specialist Maternity Care clinic in Lund. Do you want an exciting assignment where you contribute to good service and develop the administrative operations together with engaged colleagues? Then this might be the right job for you.
The administrative unit in Lund consists of approximately 25 employees working within gynecology and obstetrics. We are organized into teams for outpatient and inpatient care within various specialties. A corresponding organization exists in Malmö, and we collaborate across municipal borders with a shared responsibility for the administrative work.
The operations cover several highly specialized areas, making the work both developmental and meaningful. RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Administrator within Specialist Maternity Care, you will have a varied and stimulating job.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Handling referrals
- Processing incoming mail
- Telephone service
- Scheduling appointments
- Handling 1177 (Swedish healthcare advice line)
- Registration and coding
- Quality assurance of administrative tasks
Other administrative tasks may occur and can be adapted based on your competence and interest.
The work is performed both independently and in teams. You are expected to be involved in improvement work regarding routines, working methods, and operational development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who work in a structured and independent manner and who thrive in an operation where the pace is sometimes high. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and ensure high quality in what you do. You are flexible and have a solution-oriented approach. You meet patients in various life situations and therefore have a professional and respectful attitude combined with a high sense of service. Furthermore, you have good teamwork skills and actively contribute to a positive work climate. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
Regarding formal requirements, we see that you have:
- Completed and approved upper secondary education
- At least two years of experience in administrative work
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
It is meritorious if you have:
- Post-secondary education in administration, such as medical secretary training or other relevant education
- Experience in administrative work within healthcare, preferably in women's health
- Knowledge of the systems Obstetrix and Pasis
