We are now looking for a communicator who wants to develop and drive our communication work forward.

About the role

As a communicator at Ystad Energi, you are responsible for the company's communication, both internally and externally. You are the sole communicator in the company, which gives you a broad and varied role with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to make an impact.

You work closely with managers and employees throughout the operation and serve as an important support in communication matters. The role involves a combination of strategic work, advisory services, and operational execution.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives
• developing content for the website and intranet
• producing texts, news, customer information, and press releases
• strengthening internal communication and supporting the operation in change and development work
• working with media contacts, environmental scanning, and communication support
• contributing to the development of Ystad Energi's brand – both as an attractive employer and as a market player that attracts and develops customer relationships
• planning and implementing communication initiatives related to projects, events, and customer offers
• responsible for the company's graphic profile and ensuring it permeates all platforms, e.g., website, newsletters, and social media

We are looking for you who

have education in communication, journalism, or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience in communication work and feel confident in planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives in various channels. Formulating clear messages and adapting content for different target groups is a natural part of your work.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• experience with AI, digital communication, web, and social media
• habit of planning, prioritizing, and driving multiple assignments in parallel
• good ability to create structure, collaborate, and build trusting relationships
• a strong customer heart and interest in energy, sustainability, and environmental issues

It is an advantage if you have experience with web publishing in Sitevision, Paloma, or similar tools. We would also appreciate if you have experience with simpler image and film production, as well as knowledge of public operations, GDPR, and public access and secrecy issues.

As a person, you are proactive, curious, and development-oriented. You thrive with taking personal responsibility and have the ability to translate complex information into clear and relevant communication. You have good judgment and feel confident handling issues that can sometimes be media or politically sensitive.

The urban network, delivering the fastest way into the future, has over 7,100 customers. District heating, fossil-free since 2019, has approx. 2,100 customers and transfers 145 GWh of district heating produced with renewable fuels. Ystad Energi also owns and maintains Ystad Municipality's street lighting.
