The Economics Department is looking for a controller who will work very closely with the hospital's operations. Our primary focus is to provide professional, operation-oriented economic support to the hospital's managers. We support the operations in terms of follow-up and analysis regarding economic and operational control. We work to fulfill Skåne University Hospital's (Sus) vision of the best possible health at all stages of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a controller with an operation-oriented focus, you work in close collaboration with the operations manager, HR partner, and operations developer. You have both an operational and a strategic function and are expected to be an active member of the management group. You work on-site within the operations area located in both Lund and Malmö.

As an operation-oriented controller, you work with developing forecasts, preparing economic reports, and conducting ongoing follow-up, budgeting, and financial analyses. You contribute qualified decision support to the operations and play a key role in ensuring good economic control. In this role, your communication skills and analytical approach are valued, as well as your drive to develop processes and working methods. You work proactively and make decisions from a holistic perspective. You collaborate closely with HR partners and operations developers, where you together support and develop the operations' managers towards the organization's set goals.

In addition to the direct work with the operations area, you are expected to be driving the Economics Department's work to improve the operation-oriented support to Sus managers. There is also an opportunity to participate in hospital-wide projects and be involved in various development areas regarding, among other things, economic, staffing, and production control.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a university/college education in economics. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of various computer systems. To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience with qualified controlling work in a larger organization. For the position, it is required that you have a few years of experience in similar tasks. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have previously worked in or in close collaboration with a management group. Experience working in the systems Raindance and Qlik Sense is also considered meritorious.

Furthermore, you dare to take your own initiatives, seek information, and help the operations area make decisions. It is also important that you have a good ability to work independently and, with your own drive, participate in structuring, planning, and carrying out tasks. Since you will have many different contact areas in your work, it is an advantage if you like networking and thrive in an outward-facing role. We also value pedagogical skills as the work takes place in close collaboration with people without a background in economics. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
