About the position

In the role of personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. It is the client's individual needs that dictate the workday, and the work can, for example, involve help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

We are now looking for you who fits the following:

• Want to work with a 6-year-old girl living in Kalix
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Tolerate pets (cat and dog live in the home)
• Are comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with educators and parents
• Since the position involves working with children, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required
• Are non-smoking (during working hours)

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Have experience working with tube feeding and autism
• Have experience working with children

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts". Before the position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will receive an agreement for a fixed-term hourly employment with a set end date.

We are looking for you who are interested in a position of approximately 80%. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and night, both on weekdays and weekends. Work shifts are scheduled 07:00–16:30 and 18:00–07:00, with waiting time occurring 01:00–06:00.

During school weeks, the client is at school Monday to Thursday from 08:00–12:00, and you will be present to support her during the school day.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date immediately or according to agreement. The end date for the temporary position has not yet been determined.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
