Process Leader for the 'Safe Meetings' Development Project

Do you want to work close to operations to develop concrete support for staff who interact with young people? We are now looking for a Process Leader for a development project within Luleå Municipality.

The project Safe Meetings – Mental Sustainability in Upper Secondary School/KAA is a development project within Luleå Municipality, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Norrbotten County Council. The project starts in October 2026 and ends in June 2029.

The project aims to strengthen staff competence through competence-building measures, environmental scanning, increased collaboration, and the development of new methods and tools. The staff involved are primarily school health services and study and career counselors at the upper secondary school, as well as consultants within the Municipal Activity Responsibility (KAA).

Competence-building measures are planned in areas that staff themselves consider important for supporting young people, such as mental health, digital stress, and methods like ACT. Based on these measures, the project will develop working methods, new approaches, and practical tools for the relevant staff.

Key parts of the project include further developing a digital toolbox (Klasstid) used independently by upper secondary school mentors and/or in collaboration with school health services/career counselors. Additionally, the project will develop a motivation-enhancing structure for how KAA staff can support young people who are neither studying nor working.

Responsibilities

As a Process Leader, you work close to operations and are responsible for developing, testing, and improving methods within the Safe Meetings project. You play a key role in developing the content of the digital toolbox Klasstid and the structure for KAA's work. The assignment is operational, relationship-based, and development-oriented.

Your tasks include:

  • Testing and evaluating methods and tools in practice
  • Supporting staff in using new working methods
  • Gathering needs and experiences from operations
  • Developing and structuring content in Klasstid
  • Creating and piloting the structure for KAA
  • Contributing to building sustainable working methods (e.g., annual calendars)
  • Ensuring that methods work in everyday life

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people
  • Has pedagogical competence
  • Has an interest in method development
  • Is relationship-building and receptive
  • Thrives in practical work close to operations
  • Has a good ability to translate needs into concrete solutions

Meritorious: Experience with KAA, or other work with young people who are neither studying nor working, school health services, or other school operations. An academic degree in pedagogy, sociology, health sciences, child and youth science, or equivalent as assessed by the employer.

We Offer

  • A central role in the development of concrete working methods for young people
  • The opportunity to work close to operations and create direct benefit
  • A project with a clear focus on quality and long-term effect
