We are looking for both temporary staff and an assistant for a part-time day position with a one-year-and-nine-month-old boy with a tracheostomy in Luleå. As an assistant in this assignment, you are offered a rewarding job with an active and curious boy. The family consists of the boy, his mother, father, and their dog – a French Bulldog. They live in a villa with good conditions for a pleasant working environment for you as an assistant. As an assistant, you will always work in close proximity to the boy – both at home and when the family goes on outings and trips.

The boy's needs require supervision and interventions around the clock. Since he breathes through a tracheostomy cannula, you will always work as two assistants with the client to ensure that his breathing functions correctly. A central part of the work is to prevent blockages in the cannula by regularly removing mucus/saliva with a tube (suction catheter) and administering mucolytic inhalations. The boy also has a feeding tube in his stomach, which he is fed from occasionally in addition to a bottle. Otherwise, the boy is healthy, lively, and enjoys playing, riding in a stroller, and sitting in someone's lap.

Personal chemistry and the interaction between you as an assistant, the client, and his relatives are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

About the employment
Working hours vary and can be scheduled for day, evening, and night according to needs in the schedule. We apply the employment form of hourly employment for this assignment. The position may be expanded to a permanent position in the long term. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreement (Fremia-Kommunal: Personal Assistance).

About the recruitment
