Job Responsibilities

The work involves supporting the individual in their daily life. You work based on the residents' different needs and resources, enabling a good life situation. You provide practical support and mentor the residents so that they feel safe and included in their daily lives. The work includes planning, documenting, and following up on interventions together with the individual and colleagues. You participate in workplace meetings; as a Residential Support Worker, you work according to the residents' implementation plans. You document and continuously follow up on the support provided.

Qualifications

Requirement of upper secondary education, such as the Care and Nursing program or the Child and Leisure program, and/or several years of experience with the target group that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of documentation and if you have experience working with clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling (LAB). Working with people who have various disabilities requires good cooperation skills as well as personal maturity and flexibility.

It is important that you:

• Can utilize and strengthen the individual's resources with a pedagogical approach
• Are flexible and have good cooperation skills
• Want to contribute to developing the operations and are confident and professional in your role as a Residential Support Worker

More about the position

Permanent position, day shifts, part-time 58.16%, full-time equivalent 36.33 hours/week.

Start date according to agreement.
