About the workplace

Just outside Helsingborg, you will find Påarp School, a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 570 students. The school is located in a lush green area in the middle of the village, conveying the feeling of a small school on a large scale. Here, you will meet attentive colleagues in a natural decentralized culture where you will make an important contribution to a school in development. We work to create space and room for all children and students to grow. Through our pedagogy and approach, we strive to develop the student's ability to take responsibility for their own education.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach Art in grades 4-9, where older students are divided into smaller groups to create positive conditions for both individual student development and the ability to create good premises at the group level.

Your task is to plan, conduct, and assess the students' work and concretize the goals so that students get clear and good prerequisites for succeeding in their schoolwork.

You will work closely together with teachers and other staff in an engaged work team. As a teacher, you plan and support the student's learning together with the work team, and together you are responsible for the development and implementation of the operations. The work team's motto is "all students are everyone's students," which gives a clear picture of their strong desire for cooperation and to give students a whole school day. For us, it is important that students are given the same opportunities regardless of which class they are in; students recognize themselves in other students' work and can both be inspired by each other and support their schoolmates.

You inspire students to new discoveries, strengthen and develop students' social interaction, and are a clear role model for them.

It is a great advantage if you also have qualifications in other PREST subjects to create a better overall picture for the students.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license and are qualified to teach Art. If you also have qualifications in another subject, it is seen as an advantage. At the same time, you are a team player who finds it easy to cooperate and builds positive relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and school leadership. You have positive high expectations of students' abilities and a will and ambition to constantly develop the operations towards an inclusive learning environment that captures students regardless of prerequisites and interest.
