Job Description

Kungshögsskolan is looking for an engaged primary school teacher (grades F-3) with qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language and Mathematics. The main responsibilities include serving as a teaching mentor in a team with joint responsibility for all students in the grade. Your duties encompass mentoring, planning, teaching, and assessment. You will contribute to the development of pedagogical activities in accordance with governing documents and the school's commitments. You will foster a good learning environment and find strategies to reach and strengthen each student in their knowledge and personal development. We see you as a clear leader in the classroom who creates good conditions for learning for all our students.

 

Qualifications

You are a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications for Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language and Mathematics for grades F-3. Experience working as a teacher is an advantage. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of didactics and pedagogy and can lead and organize work to create study peace and a good learning environment throughout the day.

You develop your work based on evidence-based research and have good knowledge of digital tools.

We expect you to be a clear leader in the classroom, engaged, and responsible in your role. You are secure and stable, capable of building good, sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You view collective collaboration in learning as a success factor for developing teaching and student learning. We assume you have a positive view of students and a high work ethic.

About the Workplace

Kungshögsskolan is a newly built school (2024) with good opportunities and conditions in the learning environment. The school has approximately 540 students from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located in Oxie, next to green areas, with access to good transport connections. At the school, we have a climate of trust where we work together to create a school we are all proud of.
