Job Description

We are looking for a vocational teacher for the Vehicle and Transport Program with a focus on passenger cars at Nils Holgersson Gymnasium in Skurup. The program leads to employment for students as passenger car mechanics. The position includes both theoretical and practical teaching as well as mentoring students.

You will be part of a work team where you jointly plan the overall work and subject integration.

You should be flexible and creative and enjoy working in a team. You have good pedagogical skills and see it as a fun challenge to pass on knowledge to future professionals in your industry.

You thrive in meetings with people and are good at building good relationships, while also having the ability to be a clear leader and role model for young people heading towards adult life. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you do not have teacher qualifications but have the desire and ambition to study for them, we view this very positively.

Qualifications

• Teacher's degree with a main focus on vehicles and transport.
• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of vehicle function and construction, as well as diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of light vehicles.
• Good pedagogical ability and knowledge of the school's steering documents.
• Commitment to students and their development.

Personal suitability is emphasized.
