We are now looking for you, a driven teacher who wants to work as a Lead Teacher (Förstelärare) at Höjaskolan. The main part of the position will consist of teaching and mentoring in year 3.
As a Lead Teacher at Höjaskolan, you play a key role in driving pedagogical development forward and contributing to raising the quality of teaching across the entire school. Your assignment places a strong focus on collegial learning, where you actively share your subject knowledge and professionally recognized skills with your colleagues.
You take special and overarching responsibility for leading and developing subject didactics and subject development within Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language (SvA), and Social Studies (SO). Through your strong commitment, you inspire others and become a driving force in the school's joint work to develop and refine teaching methods, always with student goal achievement and study results in focus.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role, you must be a certified preschool to grade 3 teacher (F-3) with qualifications in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language (SvA), and Social Studies (SO). It is considered a plus if you also have qualifications in additional subjects. You must have the ability to communicate at a high level in Swedish, both orally and in writing. In your professional role, you have demonstrated a particularly good ability to improve students' study results, and you are driven by a strong interest in developing teaching. It is also highly meritorious if you have previous experience working as a Lead Teacher or if you have previously driven various development processes within the school's operations.
To be considered for the Lead Teacher position, you must be able to document, through records, at least four years of well-regarded work after graduation involving teaching within one or more employments in the school system. Furthermore, we would appreciate that you have experience in driving pedagogical development processes based on systematic quality work.
Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
We welcome your application!
