Sjöbo Municipality is organized into four principal areas, and now Principal Area 1 is looking for an engaged and driven teacher for instruction in special education groups. As a teacher, you will become an important part of the school's teaching staff and work in close collaboration with colleagues to jointly develop teaching and contribute to an equitable, high-quality education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves teaching mainly in grades 4-9.

You work independently within your assignment and are at the same time a non-hierarchical and clear team player who contributes structure, engagement, and courage to the school's joint work.

The role includes among other things:

• Exercise clear and present pedagogical leadership with a focus on teaching quality, accessible learning environments, and students' learning and development.
• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to governing documents and current legislation.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where students dare to try, fail, and develop.
• Work creatively and courageously in teaching, preferably through cross-curricular projects and close collaboration with colleagues.
• Adapt teaching to students' varying needs.
• Participate actively in the school's work team and contribute to the school's joint development work.

The position is a permanent position at 100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Are a certified teacher
• Have good knowledge of and experience working based on Lgr22.
• Have the ability to plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate teaching with a focus on quality and goal fulfillment.
• Create a safe, secure, and inspiring learning environment with a clear student focus.
• Have good collaboration skills, lift up your colleagues, and enjoy working in teams and work groups.
• Communicate well in speech and writing in Swedish
• Have a well-developed ability to be stable and secure even in pressured situations
• Are a clear leader with good boundary setting
• Are calm and apply a low-affective approach

• Are positive with a twinkle in the eye, engaged, and curious in your pedagogical assignment.
• Are creative and like to think outside the box to motivate and engage all students.
• Are courageous in your leadership in the classroom and dare to try new methods.

Merits:

• Previous experience of teaching in special education groups or resource schools
• Previous experience of cross-curricular work and project-based learning.
