Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher in textile crafts (textilslöjd) at 75% capacity, teaching grades 3-6 as well as adapted primary school. You will be part of a team with certified and experienced teachers who together plan and are responsible for the students' learning and development. We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and naturally puts the student's needs and prerequisites at the center. You build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with the students, as well as creating an open, positive, and professional dialogue between home and school. You work based on the curriculum and current regulatory documents when planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on teaching and student results, both independently and in collaboration and dialogue with your colleagues.

Your role may also involve mentoring some of our students. In your capacity as a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow their academic development and personal maturity more closely. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's academic development through regular development meetings.

Qualifications

You must have a teaching license with subject eligibility in textile crafts for grades 3-6. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

To fit as a primary school teacher with us, it is important that you are engaged and flexible with good collaboration skills and have a positive approach. You have the ability to create good relationships and have a clear and professional manner in dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues. You want to participate actively in the school's development work. You are clear and confident in your leadership and adapt teaching based on the students' prerequisites and prior knowledge.
