Unika operates 200 LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities, and Norra Järvstavägen was recently awarded Unika's Best Activity across the entire company. The activity is located in a quiet area in Bomus in a well-thought-out location. Within a few hundred meters, you have access to most services such as a health center, pharmacy, dentist, shop, kiosk, package pickup, restaurant, etc. The staff primarily consists of employees with long experience, extensive knowledge, and high job satisfaction. Norra Järvstavägen is a well-functioning activity with good structure and routines. We actively work with diet and health issues for the individuals and have regular supervision/training. In user surveys over the past few years, all individuals have responded that they are 100% satisfied.
Everyone living with us is offered individual support, service, and good care to live as independent a life as possible. The activity is aimed at 6 individuals in person group 1 and offers housing with special service according to Section 9 of the LSS Act.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work on providing individually adapted support to people with functional impairments, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support individuals in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for individuals to achieve as much independence as possible and to be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective interaction to create security and predictability in the daily lives of the individuals. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and effectively within the activity's resources and budget. The activity's well-developed working methods place high demands on you as an employee to follow routines, your ability to work digitally, and to express yourself structured in text. You can independently manage your own areas of responsibility.
QualificationsYou are high-performing in everything you do, relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a listening manner and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Experience working in healthcare and social care.
- Secondary education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
- Driver's license.

Meritorious if you additionally have:
- Experience from psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective interaction.
- Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment Type: Permanent with probationary period
Work Hours: approx. 80%
Working Hours: Day, evening, weekend with sleeping on-call duty
Start Date: By agreement, we view it positively if you can start shortly.
Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements to Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
